I was married in 1979 and have two grown children, Julie and Jesse. Both are in the medical field while my husband, Doug and I are in Social Work.
I have been working professionally with children for over 25 years. I started as a houseparent in a Children’s Home, then became a foster parent while completing my education. I finished with a Masters in Social Work and began counseling youth in group homes. In 1990 I was impressed by the Lord to start a foster care agency. Two years later Krista was licensed by the state and I began serving children in foster care.
Currently I am working part time with Krista while developing orphan care projects in Mexico’s Southern Baja where very little exists to help the children there.
